Send a CV and a one-page essay titled ''My philosophy on food'' to: The Josephine Pignolet Award: PO BOX 406, Woollahra, NSW, 1350, no later than May 3.
Prizes include a return overseas airfare, Shun knives valued at $3000, and cash donations from industry suppliers and chefs in excess of $16,000.
