Blooming Observatory cafe business available

For the first time in 14 years, the lease is available for tender on The Observatory Cafe, a prime cafe site in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Cafes in the city's gardens are slowly getting food facelifts, with chef Tansy Good successfully taking on Richmond's Burnley Gardens canteen and the team from Icke & Igby, who run cafes Friends of Mine and Porgie & Mr Jones, operating the Stables at Como, in the grounds of the National Trust mansion in South Yarra.

Expressions of interest are due by 4pm, Monday, November 18.
