Anyone planning on attending events during Good Food Month in July should get cracking on their bookings - with a few events already sold out, and some very close to capacity.

The Young Chefs' Dinner at E'cco has been full for some weeks, while the regional Sunday Soiree at Indulge Bistro in Bundaberg is also a sell out. Mighty Mighty Cue & Brew in Fortitude Valley has just sold its final ticket to their Fourth of July lunch.

Other events that are almost filled include Dinner Under the Stars (July 3); a collaboration by restaurants Cabiria, Peasant, Libertine and The Chelsea at the Petrie Barracks. Seats for Urbane's Green Grown event (July 16) have been brisk too with only 10 seats left. Tickets to An Afternoon with the Stars (July 13) featuring the inventor of the famous 'snow egg' Peter Gilmore from Sydney's Quay, Melbourne's Andrew McConnell and Brisbane's Ryan Squires are selling fast too.

With more than 150 events throughout the month, there are still plenty of opportunities for food lovers to indulge, with everything from a degustation dinner based around local urban honey at Next Door Kitchen (July 24), to a modern Korean degustation at 85 Miskin Street (July 8), a sustainable lunch at Stokehouse (July 16), a Venetian sensory degustation at Bacchus (July 30), an Italian dinner with the Percuoco family at Tartufo (July 13), or a Galician feast at Moda (July 23).

There are also plenty of opportunities to learn something new, with cooking classes for kids (OzHarvest, July 1), fun and wine for women (Fabulous Ladies Wine Society Soiree, July 17), and an introduction to wholefoods with Mondo Organics owner and author Brenda Fawdon (July 19).
