Looking for sizzling restaurant real estate?

The northern end of the Sydney CBD remains wok hot with a new band of operators set to join upcoming launches including Nathan Sasi's Mercado and Guillaume Brahimi's Bistro Guillaume. Contemporary Chinese restaurant Lotus is a confirmed starter at Grosvenor Place Piazza, where it'll join Sake Junior and Stella Ristorante, and the already opened Grand Duk.

The Lotus group is on the expansion trail, opening at the Galeries, and a new non-Asian restaurant

The Gateway building in Circular Quay, which has already signed Neil Perry's Burger Project, is also believed to be the target of city expansion for Rushcutters Bay's Popolo restaurant. Popolo owner Falvio Carnevale confirmed interest in a city spin-off but cautioned that he "hasn't signed anything yet".
