Caribbean pop-up Jonkanoo is latest addition to Potts Point's Orwell Street

Orwell Street in Potts Point is quickly pumping up its eat street credentials.

Lobster roll venue Waterman's Lobster Co opened there last week, now Caribbean restaurant Jonkanoo is getting in on the action, opening a weekend pop up this Saturday.

"The site I am using is an existing business called Sides & Main. The kitchen space is vacant on weekends," owner-chef Damion Brown says.

He plans to keep the menu simple, with jerk pork and jerk chicken, two coleslaws, sweet potato and the occasional special.
