City-centre Italian restaurant Becco is saying goodbye to head chef Corin Sutton, who, after eight years at the restaurant and two as head chef, is moving on. Sutton is being replaced by two chefs, Steven Ward and Drew Colpman, who have been cooking at Becco for almost six years. The pair will be co-head chefs. ''They are a great team and I'm looking forward to working with both of them,'' co-owner Simon Hartley says. The new owners of the Daylesford Hotel, Anne-Marie Banting and Graham Bamford, have appointed Dan Melbourne head chef and his partner Dan Clarkson to manage front-of-house. The pair, who were most recently at Annie Smithers' du Fermier in Trentham, started in Daylesford last Thursday.
