Chef Steven Skelly moves on from Urchin restaurant, Bali

Two years after relocating to Bali to open Urchin, chef Steven Skelly has departed the hit restaurant on the holiday island. The talented former head chef at Rose Bay's Pier restaurant says contractual disagreements with Urchin's backers led to the split. He's landed at another Bali hit machine, Motel Mexicola. His role is about to get bigger, with Mexicola about to add a Canggu beach club spin-off. Next March, Skelly will bring a taste of his Bali cooking back to Sydney, with a pop-up at Bondi's Bucket List.
