A couple of interesting dinners coming up at Le Tres Bon in Bungendore.

On Sunday, May 3, there will be an open day at Caroola Farm with produce stalls and talks about sustainable farming. It will be finished off with a special dinner at Le Tres Bon where Christophe Gregoire has designed a menu based around the produce from the farm.

It's seven courses, including a beef pot au feu with beetroot in vinaigrette, roast pork with apple compote and sage, and a lamb navarin with potato and carrots. 6.30pm. $90.

The second dinner is focused on chestnuts and wine, matching dishes with chestnuts from Tweenhills Farm and the local Domaine Rogha Crois wines - including chestnut veloute and truffled cream and a dessert of French style chestnut pudding and brandy butter. Four courses and matching wines.

Friday, May 8, at 7.30pm. $90. Book at letresbon.com.au or call 6238 0662. 40 Malbon Street, Bungendore.
