Summer might be heading to a close but the number of Friday night alfresco drinking options seems to be increasing.
Hotel Kurrajong has launched a Friday night bar, this one in the garden of Chifley's Bar and Grill.
The Kurrajong drinks will run from 5pm-8pm with live music and a bar offering cocktails, craft beer, and snacks such as sliders, bao, and little bites.
There's a bit of a theme to each week - this Friday's bar theme is Mexican - there'll be tacos, coronas and margaritas.
It's the latest in a string of venues doing Friday night drinks in the Parliamentary Triangle.
In recent weeks we've also had the debut of Picnic, the pop-up bar on the terrace at the National Library of Australia.
There's also the courtyard drinks at Old Parliament House, the late night Friday openings at the National Portrait Gallery and summer events at the Sculpture Garden restaurant at the National Gallery of Australia.
And for the ultimate post work drink and nibbles, there's no missing the Enlighten Night Noodle Markets starting March 4-13 on the lawns between Questacon and the Portrait Gallery.
The markets are run by Fairfax, the publisher of the Canberra Times.
