Chop chop: Rice Paper Scissors is on a fast track to super cool

Hawker-style Rice Paper Scissors has been quietly humming away in the CBD's Liverpool Street since December. Chef Shane Stafford's south-east Asian menu serves up small bites such as banana-leaf coconut steamed fish or a lip-tingling crying tiger beef - a $49 set menu for two is a bargain. Wash it down with a kaffir-lime-tinted take on the classic South Side cocktail. With spot-on service and a sultry grey brick interior, it's on a fast track to super cool.
