Dessert queen Christine Manfield will serve four of her signature desserts at Melbourne's Tonka restaurant this week.

The chef-in-residence will take over the Indian restaurant's pastry section from Tuesday, November 18 until Saturday, November 22.

Manfield's menu will feature four desserts, including her famous 'Gaytime Goes Nuts', the towering MasterChef season four grand final challenge.

Manfield nominated Tonka's take on classic Indian dumplings, gulab jamun, as one of her favourite Melbourne desserts.

Manfield will also be whipping up her showstopping sweets at Canberra's EightySix restaurant in December. Her latest cookbook Dessert Divas was released earlier this year.
