Clement's Kris Wood to open in the Docklands

Kris Wood, barista and owner of the popular Clement cafe in South Melbourne Market, is planning a second business on Bourke Street in Docklands. Yet to be named, the tiny space - 25 square metres - will house just five bar stools, with the focus on Wood's specialty coffee making. "In the Docklands, specialty coffee has no real significance thus far," Wood says, "and I felt that the workers of Docklands would enjoy our smiles and coffee." The space, designed by Wonder, a Fitzroy design studio, is due to open at the end of May.
