Blessed be the burger, for Sydney is obsessed. Call it a religious food awakening, a sign or a good old fashion stunt, but the blessed hot cross barra burger, which will be available on Good Friday at Crown Street Fish Shop, might be just the thing to wash down with some communion wine.

Apparently Father Bill, of nearby St Peters Parish, is a fan of Crown Street Fish Shop's fish burger, so they are getting him in to bless each of the burger's damper style hot cross buns.

You'd guess he might eat a few as well.

It's difficult to put a price on goodwill and one of the holiest days on the calendar, but Crown Street Fish Shop has.

It'll cost $14, plus holiday surcharge.
