Donnini's reopens with a new look

Carlton restaurant Donnini's reopens today after being closed for a nip and tuck and to repair water damage to the eatery's floor. Co-owner Marco Donnini describes the work done as ''not a full facelift, just some Botox and collagen''. The Donnini family, which has been at 320 Lygon since 2002 after moving from Drummond Street, has taken the closure as a chance to restructure the menu. ''We've introduced daily changing specials, a monthly changing menu and are providing a few more options,'' Donnini says. These include more seafood, with three or four fish dishes offered daily. Donnini's will be open from noon today.
