After 12 months upgrading its Kew kitchen, family-owned Xocolatl (pronounced Sho-ko-la-tl) is holding classes for the first time. The father-daughter team takes small groups through a chocolate appreciation session, followed by hands-on chocolate tempering and ganache making.

Join chocolatier Linda Komesaroff at luxury accommodation retreat and chocolate school Wild Patch. In a comprehensive class, create ganache-filled Easter eggs from scratch, mould chocolate bunnies, then gift-wrap what you don't eat. Wild Patch also caters for the fructose intolerant with a specialised class on April 19 ($286).
