Yarra Valley Chocolaterie

Calling all junior masterchefs: if you are aged between six and 12, join Yarra Valley Chocolate's European chocolatiers and make your own goodies in a parent-free zone. Expect plenty of chocolate to take home, plus a chef's hat, apron and graduation certificate.

After 12 months upgrading its Kew kitchen, family-owned Xocolatl (pronounced Sho-ko-la-tl) is holding classes for the first time. The father-daughter team takes small groups through a chocolate appreciation session, followed by hands-on chocolate tempering and ganache making.
