Epicure masthead change: The Age editor's letter

Dear readers, the sharp-eyed among you may have noticed that we've added Good Food to our Epicure masthead.

It's the same great team with the same local and national food and wine coverage, while acknowledging Epicure's place in the Good Food family.

Epicure morphed out of a weekly food column in 1976. In the 38 years since, we have broadened our commitment to Melbourne far beyond a weekly print section.

Our website goodfood.com.au is celebrating its first birthday and its readership continues to grow; Good Food Month is now in three cities, with Brisbane the latest to enjoy this fantastic festival; and the Good Food guides provide the best in-depth restaurant, cafe and bar reviews in this state.

We've observed, reported and influenced Melbourne as it's flourished into one of the world's great food cities.
