Ice-cream maestro John Marshall opens his much-awaited dessert bar on Wednesday, January 14.
The Frugii Dessert Bar opens in the Ori apartment and retail complex on Lonsdale Street in Braddon.
Marshall's dessert counter will feature a selection of cakes, chilled desserts and pastry under glass, while the handmade ice creams which have won him acclaim across Canberra will be scooped out of a very fancy industrial-chic freezer, which can handle multiple temperatures.
The ice creams will all be stored discreetly in individual containers in the fancy freezer – the correct way to keep them, Marshall says. We can't wait.
