Historic property Heronswood will host the Take a Stand against Monsanto lunch on Saturday, February 15, to help raise funds for Western Australian farmer Steve Marsh, who is taking his neighbour to court, alleging his farm lost its organic status when genetically engineered canola seeds blew on to his property.

Speakers including chef Matt Wilkinson, ABC gardening personality Costa Georgiadis and Diggers Club founder Clive Blazey will give a series of short, punchy talks after the lunch, which will feature organic produce from the Fork to Fork gardens, untouched when the thatched-roof restaurant burnt down on January 14.

Tickets are $250 a head for lunch on Heronswood's pool lawn, or $125 a family ($75 a head) to bring your own picnic, hear the talks and wander the gardens, with all profits going to the Steve Marsh Fund.
