Grace calls it a day after 12 weeks

Christopher Grace has left Simon's Waterfront restaurant, Warrnambool, after just 12 weeks, for, he says, ''personal reasons and to pursue something more urban''. Owner Simon Kettyle confirmed Grace's departure and the promotion of sous chef Andrew Clarke as Grace's replacement. ''We are very happy with Andrew and more than happy with the direction the restaurant is going in,'' Kettyle says. Clarke added that he has created, ''a simpler, cleaner, more accessible menu''.
