The Canberra Environment Centre holds its Christmas market on the evening of Friday, December 6. Stallholders will sell “eco-friendly, organic, handmade and fair trade goodies” for under the tree, and features a pop-up wine bar offering with local wines. Some of it sounds rather like stuff that might be worthy but you wouldn’t give as a gift (chemical-free cleaning products and rainwater tanks, for example), but there’s loads of other organic, craft, and garden-themed stalls. Music and food also. Corner of Lennox Crossing and Lawson Crescent, Acton Peninsula (next to the National Museum), 5pm-9pm, ecoaction.com.au
