The charm of industry figure Amanda Ryan has touched dining floors across Sydney over the past two decades - everywhere from Tetsuya's to Quay and the Three Blue Ducks. Now its our turn to give some service in return.

A few weeks ago, Ryan went to hospital with a suspected case of pneumonia. Instead, she was diagnosed with lung cancer, scans also revealing tumours on her brain. A fund-raiser to help with the 39-year-old's medical costs has been organised for Sunday, June 23.

Merivale has donated space at The Ivy Sun Room and the auction list will have even the most hardened foodie licking their lips. For more information, see moshtix.com.au/v2/event/amanda-ryans-fun-fabulous -fundraiser/66091.
