Is Marmalade and Soul kaput?

Staff arriving at Fitzroy North cafe Marmalade and Soul last week found they were unable to get into their workplace. Chef Andrew Beddoes, who returned last month to head up the Queens Parade kitchen (Espresso, March 12), couldn't be contacted for information. Other staff were also unavailable. A sign in the window of the cafe advised it was ''closed until further notice''.
