Two weeks into its fresh identity as Woodland House and new owners Thomas Woods and Hayden McFarland have survived their first test: entertaining former boss Jacques Reymond. Woods says they were nervous about how Reymond would enjoy their pared back, produce-driven menu but relieved to get the official thumbs up. Some rooms have been repainted and furniture changed, but the front-of-house team remains and there's still a separate meat-free menu.
