The transformation of Jupiter's on the Gold Coast continues, with the casino aiming to attract customers for its dining rather than just its blackjack tables
Fine Japanese diner Kiyomi, headed by executive chef Chase Kojima, opened at Jupiters on the Gold Coast in December 2014 and picked up a hat at the 2016 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide awards. The Jupiters group this week launched another new venue within the casino complex as part of the ongoing $365 million dollar redevelopment that will include an array of restaurants and bars and the construction of a new six-star luxury all-suite tower, operational for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The Garden Kitchen & Bar replaces former venue The PA pub in an open-plan "garden" setting with, unusually for a casino, an outdoor bar, conservatory and lawn area.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, the menu is a typical globally influenced modern menu designed to please all. The 350-seat venue taps into the "local" ethos with dishes using produce like Mooloolaba spanner crab, Queensland prawns and herbs from the casino's own kitchen garden.
There's also a grill section with carefully detailed provenance about the beef as well as a chef's rotisserie with a slow-cooked roast of the day.
Open daily 7am-10.30am; 11.30am-4pm; 5pm-10pm.
