The art of pizza making has been folded, rolled, stretched and spun as much as the dough itself, from the austere minimalism of the Italian original to the flamboyant maximalism of "gourmet" fusion pizzas.

Elwood's Earth, Wind & Flour steers towards the latter, with a side order of menu punnery: witness the Sri Lankan-influenced Rolled Dhal (with spiced pumpkin and cauliflower, baby spinach, chilli and cheese) and the Pak A Pow (Thai-spiced ground beef, red onion, cheese, chilli and fried shallots).

The menu is a labour of love for pizzaiolo Daron Masur, who has been in the pizza game for two decades, moonlighting as a mad scientist as he's formulated his adventurous creations.

He's decked out Earth, Wind & Flour with strategically placed herb boxes and Art Deco stained glass, giving a distinctly European feel.
