What happens when two chefs – one with major catering chops, another with a stint in a top Tel Aviv restaurant (Mul-Yam) under his belt – decide to open a takeaway chicken joint?

You get succulent roast Bannockburn chicken and a rotation of knockout salads including soba noodle with edamame, root vegetable "spaghetti" and Moroccan carrot with wonton crisps.

You also get chicken (or panko-crumbed tofu) baguettes and sliders with a range of fillings, and seasonal fruit lemonades and iced teas (rhubarb and lime, anyone?).

Sides include sweet potato chips and steamed brown rice, and desserts include virtuous baked chocolate doughnuts and house-made "rawsome" choc balls (although there is a peanut butter brownie that is a solid brick of dive-in indulgence).
