Gun pastry chefs Shaun Quade (ex-Quay, Royal Mail) and Jo Barrett (ex-MoVida Bakery) are on board for the latest offering at the Docklands' Collins Square precinct: teeny-tiny cafe-patisserie Long Shot.

With a grab-and-go takeaway window for the workaday crowd and a handful of seats, the small-scale haven peddles a delicious range of sweet and savoury baked treats, including its signature Yarra Valley raspberry and kaffir lime tart.

You'll also find inventive house-made sodas, such as lemon thyme lemonade, St Ali coffee and some first-rate Christmassy treats. It's open Monday to Friday 7am-6pm.
