Eltham's Prosciutto Bros Craft Bar comes from a collaboration of brewers, Jamie Cox (Kooinda Brewery) and Clyde D'Angelis (Sideshow Brewing). This clean, industrial-strength beer-bar and eatery posits: did the butcher walk into the craft brewery, or the craft brewer into the butcher shop?

Table and booth seating are abundant, or pull up a pew at the recycled-brick bar, which houses 20 home-grown taps from paraded breweries such as Hawkers, Two Birds and Napoleone. Beyond the taps there's a bottle-stocked fridge, plus next-level beer nuts, as well as a solid local wine selection and a tidy on-trend cocktail list (try the Porter Martini or Lagerita).

As its name suggests, food is traditional Italian, with all the good stuff: antipasti, charcuterie boards, char-grilled pork sausage and wood-fired pizzas.
