With a life-size rickshaw parked at the entrance and a wall dedicated to the history of the three-wheeler, Gertrude Street just got more colourful. Pan-Asian eatery the Rickshaw has opened in the space that was Tandoori Times. Amit Tuteja, who owned Tandoori Times, has gone into business with Satish Panjala, who had 13 years' experience as a senior food and beverage

manager at Crown. The menu takes a rickshaw ride across Asia: there is larb gai, steamed snapper in wombok leaves, and sliders filled with pork neck and Sriracha sauce or lentil and vegetable patties. A four-course tasting menu ($35) changes daily.
