If you're a believer in saving a second stomach for dessert, you will want to keep that second stomach well and truly empty, as Adriano Zumbo prepares to add an evening Dessert Bar to his Melbourne high-tea salon Fancy Nance.
Opening on January 15, the celebrity pastry chef's weekend Dessert Bar will feature sweets such as peach, vanilla, white chocolate and whey sorbet; lemon tart with thyme ice-cream; and chocolate, banana, capsicum and red shiso.

Depending on your appetite, you can satisfy those dessert cravings from an a la carte menu, or if you're feeling a little fancy (Nancy), order a three- or five-course set menu ($40; $60) available at two sittings (6.30pm and 8.30pm).
A cocktail menu has been designed to complement each dessert.
The area that houses Little Frankie's cafe by day will transform into a lounge, and Zumbo's dessert bar will also feature a soft-serve machine and in-house DJ playing disco-tech beats.
