Homesick New York-based Melburnians will be delighted to discover the two Bluestone Lane cafes, owned by ex-AFL player Nicholas Stone and his girlfriend, model Alexandra Knight.

At the heart of the cafes are the top-notch beans sourced from San Francisco-based roaster Sightglass for the house roast. On the menu is the Melbourne-sounding signature avocado smash, along with Vegemite toast.

Both venues are decorated with light boxes featuring vintage Australian newspapers, RACV driving maps and Melbourne sporting memorabilia.

Bluestone Lane opened its first location in midtown Manhattan in July and has just launched its second in New York's financial district.
