From our file of unfortunate translations comes news of an Australian push into the Danish market. Sydney chef Michael Moore's Blood Sugar has been an international hit, so an approach to bring out a Danish edition of the recipe book came as no surprise.
"We couldn't work out why they wanted to change the name," Moore tells Short Black.
The O Bar and Dining chef soon found out, with Blod Sukker now for sale in bookshops across Denmark.
It sounds like a cunning ploy to also tap the vampire book and film genre. The chef isn't expecting a call for a cameo in the next vampire flick.
"I'm not into them, but my daughter is," he says.
