You've seen the show, read the books, now dine at the restaurant. The pop-up MasterChef Dining & Bar is opening in Melbourne next week. A two-storey marquee is being built on Crown's rooftop tennis court to house the 130-seat downstairs dining-room, which offers a set menu, and two upstairs bar areas.

Former contestants and chefs from the show will be on site daily. Head chef is Monty Koludrovic, who worked for Justin North at now-closed Becasse.

Koludrovic says, "the calibre of our restaurant is impressive", and the menu will "be inspired by the show". It's open for lunch and dinner daily and high tea on Sundays from October 1 to 27.

Tickets are $115 a head for the four-course menu or $165 with the matching wine package. For more information go to masterchefdining.com.au.
