There's some truth in the wild rumours Merivale is opening branches of El Loco, Papi Chulo, Mr Wong and Sushiat its booming new venue, Coogee Pavilion.

Pop-ups of the restaurants will operate as part of March into Merivale, which kicks off on February 23.

The group's waterside action this year will also include free Monday detox sessions of yoga by the rooftop pool at Ivy.

"No, I won't be taking the sessions, there'll be someone better than me. But we might have a dunking machine," Merivale's flexible CEO Justin Hemmes says.

"A lot of the stuff happening this year shows the diversity of the group. We're not just a food and drink business. We're a lifestyle company."
