The co-owners of North Melbourne restaurant Libertine, sommelier Zoe Ladyman and chef Nick Creswick, have announced they are closing the eight-year-old Victoria Street restaurant. The husband-and-wife team made the announcement in a letter to the restaurant's regulars on Thursday night, saying they wanted to spend more time together as a family as the core reason for the closure. Ladyman added: ''Nick and I are so fiercely proud of what we created but, despite this, we've had to make this tough decision.'' Libertine's final service will be dinner on Saturday, June 29.
