Maurice Terzini's Da Orazio Pizza + Porchetta has proved enough of a hit in Bondi he's set to take it to the big smoke. Terzini has confirmed he plans to open a branch in the city.

Spotted looking at sites in Sussex and Bridge streets, the restaurateur is hopeful of finalising a location quickly. "It won't be exactly the same. It'll be an extension of what we're doing at Bondi. It might be Da Orazio Pizza and an enoteca, or a trattoria," he says.

Terzini, who has just started serving Sunday brunch at Icebergs Dining Room & Bar, also scotched rumours that his plans for a Bali venture are dead in the water. "We've just signed [to the Sea Sentosa hotel development]. We'll start doing room service in December. We'll also be running the pool bar, and Icebergs Beach Club Canggu will open early next year."
