Western Victoria's weekend lunch stalwart, Sunnybrae, has been sold. Chef and co-owner George Biron said the entire property would go to a new owner, and that ''for continuity and sense of place'' he was delighted with the result, but could reveal no more due to a confidentiality agreement. Biron, a pioneer of the seasonal, regional, sustainable paddock-to-plate restaurant ethos, says last service will be on Sunday, August 18. One-hatted Sunnybrae closed for eight years in 2001. Back then, Biron says, ''we gave people a year's notice''. After the move, Biron says he'll ''get settled, and keep working''.
