With some of Sydney's fine dining chefs jumping on the burger craze (we're looking at you Justin North and Warren Turnbull) the humble burger is being primped and preened from Cronulla to Hornsby, but word is there's a new player on the block: the ramen burger.

We're told it features a patty made of noodles and will be found at the Night Noodle Markets, which kick off tomorrow as part of Good Food Month presented by Citi, at Hyde Park.

Opening hours have been extended this year, trading until 11pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and opening on Saturdays for the first time.

Last year 200,000 noodle lovers attended the 13-night event. The addition this year of burger aficionados could swell that number.
