Ashly Hicks will replace Paul Wilson as executive chef of the Melbourne Pub Group's Circa in St Kilda. Circa will have a new head chef, too, with Lyndon Tyers replacing Jake Nicolson. Wilson and Nicolson recently announced their resignations from the group within days of each other.
Hicks has been at Circa since late last year after a stint at Fitzroy's ill-fated Brix restaurant. Before that, he was at Brisbane's the Buffalo Club, where he was named 2011 young chef of the year. Tyers, his head chef, has been a sous chef at Circa.
