Taking place at Carriageworks every Saturday, Eveleigh Markets is always worth getting out of bed for. Kylie Kwong is there each week serving delicious food to her market faithful. You can expect pork dumplings with ginger and soy, or maybe steamed savoury pancakes with organic egg, saltbush and caramel. Alex Herbert has also created a cult following with her super-cheesey croque monsieur toasted sandwiches.

Eveleigh Markets has one of the best selections of organic, biodynamic, and heirloom produce in Sydney. Even if you're not in the market to buy that morning, it's a wonderful feeling to just be surrounded by all the fruit, veg, and meat from some the top farmers in NSW. Regular storeholders include Eumundi Smokehouse, Champion Mountain Organics, Highland Gourmet Potatoes, Mirrool Creek Lamb, and G & M Purtrino providing plump tomatoes, strawberries and figs.
