It's not a burger, a taco or souvlaki. And it doesn't have meatballs in it, but the rebirthed Reuben sandwich has proved a hit for O Bar and Dining owner Michael Moore.

The chef's Reuben & Co outlet motored at Westfield Sydney, so he's taking it northside.

''We're opening at Macquarie Centre in October, [eventually] I'd like to open four or five of them,'' he says.

Moore points to 60 per cent of sandwich sales being Reubens. ''We've stuck with quality wagyu. It's a meal in a sandwich,'' he says of the appeal.
