Roast alpaca anyone?

The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is holding its annual Roast Collection to celebrate Victoria's winter produce, and has some interesting submissions. San Telmo in the city is serving alpaca as part of a week of different roasted meats, while Coburg's Post Office Hotel is featuring a different Portuguese region each week. Melbourne Food and Wine chief executive Natalie O'Brien says: "Victoria's restaurants, wineries and producers always put a creative spin on the traditional hearty roast, and I think this year's program is our strongest yet."
