Robert Oatley wine dinner in Parramatta

Before he became a household name for winning four consecutive Sydney to Hobart's with his fleet of Wild Oats super-maxi yachts, Robert Oatley was producing some bloody good shiraz. And still is.

Wine lovers can sample some of the Robert Oatley Signature Series drops on Wednesday July 23 at Parramatta’s Restaurant 317.

The wine selection of the evening will showcase some of Oatley's best drops from the regions that grow them best. Expect pairings like oysters with a glass of riesling from the Great Southern region in Western Australia, and sirloin with rosemary potatoes, roasted pumpkin and chargrilled asparagus matched to a McLaren Vale shiraz.

317 Church St, Parramatta, 1300 317 317, $69.
