It would take some licking but the new bar at Salt Meats Cheese in Alexandria is edible. It is made of Himalayan pink salt, similar to that used for platters at Chiswick in Woollahra. This week Salt Meats Cheese (41 Bourke Road, next to the Grounds) opens the 10-seat curing room for smallgoods consumption. Presumably not cured on the bar.
