Canberra butcher David Peddle will launch a new cookbook based on the art of the sausage on Saturday, August 15, at the Belconnnen Markets.

The book is Sausages: History, Mystery, Mastery and will impart Peddle’s secrets from 45 years of butchery.

The book features step-by-step instructions for beginner sausage makers and has recipes for kangaroo and beer snags and beef and Vegemite ones. Peddle will be at the Belconnen Markets from 11am cooking up demo sausages and talking about the book.
