Social Spoons says cafe time "good for you"

Going to a cafe can be good for you. Social Spoons is a program designed by Inner South Community Health Service to help socially isolated people reconnect with their communities through hospitality. Participating cafes provide people with a snack or meal for up to $10 twice a week for six months. Stonnington and Port Phillip councils are subsidising cafes in their area, and the next stage of the program runs from June to December. If you are a cafe owner interested in signing up, would like to nominate a socially minded cafe or would like to know more, see: socialspoons.org.au.
