Super slurpers - a bowl that holds your ramen and your iPhone

No longer do you need to juggle chopsticks, spoon and mobile life-support system at once. Taiwan-based design company MisoSoupDesign has come up with the ultimate combination: a beautiful ceramic vessel for Japanese ramen soup noodles that will also hold your iPhone. Designers Daisuke Nagatomo and Minnie Jan designed the bowl both as a convenience and as a statement on the contemporary custom of eating in solitude, even when in a crowd. With tongue lightly wedged in cheek, they christened it the Anti-Loneliness Ramen Bowl. So now you can keep in contact with friends and family while eating at the latest ramen-ya - although your mother will have to listen to you talking with your mouth full. The bowl is in production and will be on the market in May.
