Chef Luke Mangan is more than a little excited by the prospect of dropping the knives and picking up a pencil when an A-Team of Fairfax food writers assume control of his kitchen at Glass Brasserie early next month. "Judging a critic is the best thing a chef can do," Mangan says. "And myself and this great line-up of judges, including Ross Lusted [The Bridge Room] and Anthony Puharich [Vic's Meats], won't hold back," Mangan warns the Good Food team.

The Tables Have Turned dinner on May 3 will see dishes designed by Terry Durack, Jill Dupleix, Myffy Rigby, Callan Boys and Ardyn Bernoth. With commentary and scores, the public can book a ringside seat to witness the carnage as chefs and food influencers job swap. $125 per person for dinner, matching wines and the show. Phone 02 9265 6068 for bookings.
