Tarts with a twist: T by LuxBite to open in Melbourne CBD

Bernard Chu and Yen Yee have built a cult following for their Asian-inspired French pastries at LuxBite in South Yarra.

Now they're opening T by LuxBite, specialising in old-school tarts with an Asian twist: things like blueberries with vanilla rice pudding and hazelnut praline, and lemon meringue with makrut (kaffir) lime sherbet.

They hope to open at 517 Flinders Lane on October 28.
